Established in late 2021, Kinship, Driffield’s first specialist coffee shop opened its doors.
Kinship is a coffee shop serving the highest quality coffee, tea and sweet and savoury eats. Kinship aims to be a community destination that reconnects and rebuilds community cohesion and adds something unique to Driffield’s high street. We have a small retail space selling coffee for the home brewer and curated home goods from local makers.
In the future we will hold events and experiences, such as having guest speakers, creative workshops, documentary screenings and retail pop ups. Watch this space!
Our Coffee
Our house coffee is Red Brick by Square Mile.
As the crops change, so do the components of Red Brick, highlighting harvest cycles and celebrating the seasonality of coffee. Square Mile have combined the great fruit qualities from each component, and allowed the sweetness to shine.
Tasting notes: Peach / Almond / Chocolate / Caramel

Our house filter is Square Mile’s Filter Blend. But feel free to ask for our guest bean if you’d like something a little different.

Our guest coffee has come from La Cabra in Denmark. We are offering three of their amazing coffees throughout December. First up is El Estoraque, a dense and juicy Columbian.
